1. MTGOCasual - General Terms and Conditions of Website Usage

If you continue to browse and use this website you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions of use, which together with our privacy policy govern MTGOCasual’s relationship with you in relation to this website.

The term “MTGOCasual” or “us” or “we” refers to the owners of this website. The term “you” refers to the user or viewer of our website.

The use of this website is subject to the following terms of use:

1.1. The content of the pages of this website is for your general information and use only. It is subject to change without notice.

1.2. Neither we nor any third parties provide any warranty or guarantee as to the accuracy, timeliness, performance, completeness or suitability of the information and materials found or offered on this website for any particular purpose. You acknowledge that such information and materials may contain inaccuracies or errors and we expressly exclude liability for any such inaccuracies or errors to the fullest extent permitted by law.

2. MTGOCasual – Specific Conditions of Usage for Registered Users

The following conditions are applicable to those users who create or use a registered MTGOCasual account.

2.1. MTGOCasual does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of your user information, including ratings or feedback.

2.2. Submitting inappropriate material or language to any part of the MTGOCasual site, including the forums, will not be tolerated. MTGOCasual reserves the right to determine what is inappropriate, and may take action against any user found to be in violation of this clause.

2.3. In order to receive credit for a casual match played, both users (or all users, in the case of a multiplayer game) must submit the results of the match on MTGOCasual. If one or more users do not submit the information, the results will not be recorded in your rating. Similarly, if the submissions from all players do not match, the results will not be recorded in your rating until the discrepancy can be resolved.

2.4. If you believe that someone is lying about match results to prevent losses being reported, please report that individual. If MTGOCasual determines that a user is consistently lying about match results, that person will have their account banned and will be unable to participate in MTGOCasual events. Similarly, if any user is found to be artificially inflating their rating by bribing, cheating, use of multiple accounts, or any other way, that user’s account will be banned and that person will not be able to participate in MTGOCasual events.

2.5. Each user is allowed only one account at MTGOCasual. Any person found to have more than one account will have all accounts deleted.

2.6. A user’s name MUST match that of the account they will use to play ladder matches and/or participate in any MTGOCasual events. Users found to have a user name that does not match their MTGO account name will either have their account removed, or the user name changed to an account owned by that person.

2.7. Each user may leave feedback from trades for each other user ONCE. Any attempts to leave more than one feedback for another user is a violation of the terms & conditions.

2.8. You give MTGOCasual the right to publish and/or use any information you submit to the site (i.e. fantasy cards, format ideas, etc.). However, you retain copyright/trademark rights for such information. Any information you submit to MTGOCasual must be original (i.e. you have the rights to such information) OR you must have the permission of the person retaining the rights to that information to post it to MTGOCasual (and you must indicate who retains the rights).

2.9. Prizes and other giveaways for MTGOCasual are not guaranteed. MTGOCasual may withhold prizes from any user for any reason, though will only do so under extenuating circumstances.

2.10. MTGOCasual reserves the right to deny entry to any MTGOCasual event to any user that is disrespectful to the event organizer, event sponsor, or other event participants. Each event may also have specific rules, a violation of which may result in disqualification in the event, and/or a ban from that or other MTGOCasual events.

2.11. If you break any of the terms and conditions set forth herein, any rights you have in relation to this site may be forfeited, and you may not participate in any MTGOCasual events.

2.12. Usage of the site does not give you the right to sue MTGOCasual or any of its affiliates and all decisions are entirely at MTGOCasual’s discretion.

2.13. MTGOCasual reserves the right to alter these terms and conditions, and promises to provide ample notice of such changes. By continuing to use the website after any change, you expressly accept such changes.
